Ruby Mullins

Ruby Mullins, 75, of Delbarton, WV, went home to be with the Lord on April 27, 2026. She was born September 1, 1950, in Delbarton, WV, to the late James Curtis Hunt and Stella Thacker Hunt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roosevelt “Buddy” Mullins; her son, Roosevelt Curtis Hunt; her grandsons, Roger “Lee” Johnson, Buddy “Jay” Mullins, and Michael “Jay” Mullins; her brothers, Richard Curry, James Hunt, and Wilburn Hunt; and her sisters, Nancy Evans, Erma Romaine, Betty Estepp, Stella Mae Hunt, and Roberta Mullins. Ruby lived a life grounded in her faith in God and the love of her family and those around her. She was a faithful member of the Sarah Ann Church of God for many years. In her spare time, Ruby enjoyed reading her Bible and did so diligently. She also loved word searches, going to yard sales, and thrifting. She had a special love for collecting antique glassware and cookie jars. Ruby was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. She leaves behind a very large family and many who loved her, including her sister, June (David) Hall; her sister-in-law, Janie Hemby; and many staff members, nurses, and caretakers from Trinity of Mingo Nursing Home, whom she loved and considered her family. Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Richard (Angie) Mullins of Beech Creek, WV; Wilburn (Shirley) Mullins of Ragland, WV; Ruby Jane (Scott) Hamilton of Logan, WV; Arthur (Crystal) Mullins of South Charleston, WV; Pearlie (Donald) Robinette of Beech Creek, WV; Donna Johnson of Delbarton, WV; and Mike Mullins of Delbarton, WV. Also left to cherish her memory is her honorary son, Mike Hall; her grandchildren: Kayla (Shane) Smith, Steven Hunt, Stephanie Hunt, Teesha Mullins, Jennica Hall, Donovan Hall, Patrick Hall, Carissa Mullins, Caleigh (Parker) Cooper, Aaron (Summer) Robinette, Hannah Robinette, Bryson Robinette, Kassidi Robinette, Michael Wayne Mullins, and Richard (Autumn) Mullins; along with a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is also survived by her special cousin and dear friend, Alice (Luther) Workman, who visited her often and whom she loved dearly. Visitation for Ruby will take place on Thursday April 30th, 2026 from 6:00PM-9:00PM at Sarah Ann Church of God, Sarah Ann, WV with service starting at 7:00PM. Funeral Services will take place on Friday May 1st, 2026 at 1:00PM with Rev. Gary Starr, Rev. Billy Burton, and Rev. Gary May officiating. Burial will follow at the Mullins Cemetery in Ragland WV with Donovan Hall, Patrick Hall, Richard Allen Mullins, Aaron Robinette, Bryson Robinette, and Shane Smith serving as pall bearers.
