Ruby Jean Lux

Ruby Jean Lux 85 of Delbarton, WV went home to be with her Lord on January 8, 2023 while a patient at the Appalachian Regional Hospital in South Williamson, KY. She was born October 21, 1937 at Delbarton, WV the daughter of the late Henry Sr. and Peggy Mahon Ooten. She was also preceded in death by her husband; Charles Lux, brothers; Tommy, Clifford, Jack and Billy Ooten and sisters; Okie Runyon, Opal Brewster, Polly Farley and Lucille Evans and son-in-law; Carl Thompson. Ruby was a faithful sister in Christ. She loved the Lord with all her heart. She attended many churches throughout the area. Ruby loved going to the Senior Center and witnessing to her friends about the Lord. She enjoyed camping and traveling with her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Those left behind to cherish her memory include her children; Charles Edward Lux and his wife Malissa of Cincinnati, OH, Peggy Garvie of Enid, OH and Connie Thompson of Delbarton with whom she made her home with, brothers; Henry Ooten Jr. and wife Alleen of Delbarton and James Edward Ooten of Delbarton. She also leaves behind her grandchildren; Deborah Porter, Frank (Courtney) Porter, Marcus Cody Adkins, Jason (Anne) Swanson, Matthew Edward Lux, Crystal (Eric) Mounts, Amy (Bill) Oatley, April (Donnie) Pitts and Rena Jean Runyon, Great-great grandchildren; Alexis, Aidan, Ryan, Hailey, Abbigail, Adam, Mason, Frankie, Wyatt, Rylie, Morgan Kaylee and Kaycee. She was also blessed to have a great-great granddaughter, Willow Grace. Funeral services for Ruby will be held Friday January 13, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Little Dove United Baptist Church at Belo with Elders Jimmy Maynard and Chris Ooten officiating. Burial will follow in the Lux Family Cemetery at Mountain Springs, Delbarton, WV. Visitation will be Thursday evening after 6:00pm with Special services starting at 7:00pm with Rev. Roger Ooten officiating. Pallbearers will be Ed Lux, Eric Mounts, Matthew Lux, Jason Swanson, Conner Thacker, Ryan Curry, Aidan Mounts, Bill Oatley and Donnie Pitts.
