David Zeigler

David Zeigler, 57, of Delbarton, West Virginia departed from this life and entered into his heavenly home on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at the Tug Valley Appalachian Regional Medical Center while surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on October 23, 1967 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Nolan A. Zeigler and Betty Rice Zeigler. Along with his parents, David is escorted into his eternal home by his son, Michael Zeigler. For over 40 years, David worked in the Heating and Cooling industry. He held an incredible amount of knowledge and could fix absolutely anything. Those who knew him would best describe him as “even better than MacGyver”. He started out his career in this area working for Adams Heating and Cooling. After a few years, he began his business and was the owner and operator of the Zeigler Heating and Cooling for over 10 years, until its name change to Zeigler and Son Heating and Cooling this past year. David was a man of honesty, integrity, and compassion; he went out of his way to help those who needed it. He was a member of the Pie Church of God. David loved his community and those in it. As someone said once before, he leaves a tremendous void in the home, church, and community. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten. Those left behind on earth to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 23 years, Kewana Zeigler, his sons, John (Margie) Zeigler, Ryan Zeigler, Harley (Heather) Zeigler, and Bobby Zeigler, his step-son, Garrick Varney, his brothers, Robert (Surehha) Zeigler, James Zeigler, and Thomas (Sherri) Zeigler, his sisters, Tina (Alan) Blue and Julie (Gary) Humphries, his mother-in-law, Lora Mae, and his grandsons, Alex, Michael, Wyatt, Nolan, Hunter, Eilan, Emmitt, Wade, Hayden, Jacob, Brennon, and Jaxon. David also leaves behind countless friends, family members, and neighbors. Services for David will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at the Pie Church of God. Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM with a funeral service at 7:00 PM. Officiating the service will be Rev. Brian Wellman. Following the completion of the service, cremation will take place. Chafin Funeral Home is proudly serving the Zeigler family.
