Samuel Allen Ratliff Jr., 54 of Whitman, WV formerly of Delbarton, WV passed away July 23, 2015 at the St. Marys Hospital in Huntington, WV. He was born Feb. 17, 1961 in Williamson, WV the son of the late Samuel Sr. and Jettie Curry Ratliff. He was a nursing assistant for more than 30 years and of the Baptist Faith. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his brother, James Ratliff of Chapmanville, sisters, Nancy Macharavitz of Princeton, WV, Jettie Wraybelle of Columbus, OH and Tamra Lynn of Collins New Lexington, OH, Long time friend, Mack Johnson of Whitman, WV. Funeral services will be held Monday July 27, 2015 at 1:00pm at the Chafin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Basil Goodman officiating. Burial will follow in the Ratliff Cemetery at Elk Creek, WV.
