Rita Davis 51, of Ragland, WV passed away July 17, 2015 at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was born August 4, 1963 at Delbarton, WV the daughter of the late Richard and Rachel Tucker Davis. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Perry Davis. Rita Made her home with her longtime friend who care for in her final days, Donna Hunt and her children, Cheri (Jonathan) Horton and Blake Hunt. She was a volunteer for many years at the Delbarton Headstart having worked with Linda Bevins. She also volunteered for Canada's Cash Store and enjoyed all the friendships she made there. She was also a member of the Matewan Church of God. She loved her community and church and served them well. Rita is survived by brother, Jerry Davis, step-brother, Perry (Lillie) Hall, sisters, Janice (Johnny) Stafford, Nancy Davis and step-sister, Barbara Agy. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held Monday July 20, 2015 at 11:00am with Rev. David Smith officiating at the Chafin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hunt Cemetery at Bias, WV. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home Chapel Sunday evening from 6-9pm with services starting at 7:00pm. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Horton, Clinton Baisden Jr., Blake Hunt, Glen Dale Canada, Kevin Ball, Robert Hunt, C.J. Hicks, Dave Taylor and Randy Mosley.
