Joyce Mae Perry 79 of Delbarton went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 27, 2016 at the Williamson Memorial Hospital. She was born August 27, 1937 at Myrtle, WV the daughter of the late Columbus B. and Martha J. Runyon. She was also preceded in death by an infant brother, three sisters, Barbara Sue Runyon, Connie R. Cantrell and Lois J. Strawser and one granddaughter, Sheana Varney. Joyce was a faithful member of the Little Dove United Baptist Church where she loved to go and fellowship. She loved people and never met a stranger. She always had a smile on her face. She will be sadly missed by her children, David Bryant (Elisha) Runyon, Keith Allen (Sherry) Perry, Violet Jean (Billy) Jenkins, Kimberly Shawn (Jerry) Varney, Christa Darlene (Michael) Workman, sisters, Juanita Evans, Patricia Wingrove, Mary J. Spence, Edith Goff, Nannie Davis, Debra Cisco and Naomi Looney. She has 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Little Dove United Baptist Church Sunday Oct. 30, 2016 at 1:00pm with Elder Jimmy Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Preece Cemetery at Myrtle, WV.
