Jerry Dillon Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jerry Dillon, 58, of Elk Creek, WV, passed away November 27, 2020 at his home. He was born January 27, 1962 at Grundy, VA the son of Andy and Florida Jewell Dillon of Red Jacket, WV. Jerry was a former coal miner. He spent most of his time in the hills riding his four-wheeler and hunting. He loved to fish as well. In addition to his parents he is survived by his son, Jerry II (Michael) Dillon of Elk Creek, WV, daughter, Tosha (Timmy) White of Delbarton, WV, the mother of his children, Patricia Dillon Curry, step-children, Phillip Mitchell, Michelle (Charles) Mitchell and David White, brothers, Roy (Debbie) Dillon of Stone, KY, Benny (Shirley) Dillon of Lexington, KY and Andy Jr. (Hazel) Dillon of Paintsville, KY, sister, Loretta Dempsey of Red Jacket, WV, 3 grandchildren, Keisha Dempsey, Dezie Mitchell and Bella Mitchell. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at the Chafin Funeral Home Monday, November 30, 2020 at 12:00pm. Visitation will be Monday morning from 10:00am until the start of the funeral service Monday at noon. Burial will follow in the Dillon Cemetery at Elk Creek, WV. Chafin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
