Icie Lea Dillon

Icie Lea Dillon, went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 17, 2014 while a patient at the Logan Elm Village in Circleville, OH. She was born Dec. 23, 1929 in Delbarton, WV the daughter of the late Billie and Sinda Runyon Curry. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Francis "Junior" Dillon, special niece, Carol Sue Hunt, brother, Joncie "Shondo" Curry, and sisters, Ethel Mae Curry, Ruth Hess, Vicie Hunt and Effie Elder. Mrs. Dillon was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. She was a member of the Elk Creek Full Gospel Lighthouse Church. Those left behind to cherish her memories include her children, Lewis and wife Jeannie Workman of Clarksburg, OH, Gene and wife Faye Workman of Hamden, OH, Cinda and husband Billy Barath of Ragland, WV, brothers, Johnny and wife Eleanor Curry of Troy, NC, Amos and wife Maxine Curry of Ravenswood, WV, Bill and wife Ginny Curry of Lancaster, OH, sister, Ivory Farmer of Elyria, OH. She also has 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday Sept. 20, 2014 at 12:00pm at the Chafin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Varju and Rev. Tommy Powers officiating. Burial will follow in the Curry-Farley Cemetery at Elk Creek, WV. Visitation will be at the funeral home chapel Friday evening from 6-9pm.
