Vickie Lynn Urban

The loving, charismatic Vickie Lynn Urban left this earth to enter into her heavenly home on Thursday, June 13, 2024 while at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia at the age of 63. She was born on December 20, 1960 to the late Lester Harry Urban and Billie Jean Ball Urban in Arlington County, Virginia. Vickie was known for her outgoing personality. Anyone who knew her knew that she truly was the life of the party, no matter where she was. She truly had the soul of a gypsy, always living life with the most free spirit. She absolutely loved spending time with the kids and playing with them. She was one of a kind and those who knew her will dearly miss her. Vickie was welcomed into her heavenly home by her loving parents, Lester Harry and Billie Jean, her brothers, Walter B.W. Urban and Roger Dale Urban, and her great nephew, Christian Urban. Those left behind to cherish her legacy include her two children, Cody (Mattaline) Crum and Ashley (Adam) Martin, her grandchildren, Maddex Bragg and Callianne Crum, her brother, Gregory (Teresa) Urban, her sister Teresa (Randy) Hatfield, her nieces and nephews, Brandon (Bri) Urban, Zachary (Tessa) Urban, Courtney (John) Vance, Ariel Staney, Kevin Urban, and Haleigh Varney, and her great nieces and nephews, Conor Stanley, Chandler Urban, Tristan Vance, Tucker Vance, Levi Urban, Lanie Urban, Marley Urban, and Bentley Urban. Vicki also leaves behind her loving boyfriend, Claude “Fuzz” Jude, and countless special friends and other loving family members. Services will take place at the Parsley Bottom Freewill Baptist Church in Lenore, West Virginia. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 16, 2024 beginning at 6:00 PM with a special service beginning at 7:00 PM. The funeral service will take place on Monday, June 17, 2024 at 1:00 PM with brother Jimmy Maynard officiating. Burial will be to follow at the Urban Cemetery in Lenore, West Virginia.Pallbearers will be Terry Dale Davis and the graduating class of 1979 of Lenore High School.
