Dallas Lee Toler

Dallas Lee Toler, Lovingly know as “Big Dal” passed from this life on August 9, 2025 while a patient at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. He was born April 15, 1968 at Welch, WV. He was the son of the late Raymond John and Lorraine Harding Toler. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother, Ben Toler and sister, Betty Cline. Dallas lived life to its fullest. He attended the Regional Church of God and was saved and baptized. He was a graduate of Gilbert High School in 1986 and later attended Southern College and Marshall University. He was a lifelong member of the Gilbert Volunteer Fire Department after joining in 1985 as member #302. He served for many years as an EMT and Paramedic for many different fire departments and ambulance services. He was also co-owner along with his brother Mark of TMK Securities for many years where he hired so many people the local areas and made so many friends. He enjoyed working with the Delbarton Little League when his boys were young. He coached for many years. Dallas never met a stranger and loved everyone. In 2011 he was elected as Mingo County Magistrate. All he ever wanted to do was help the people of Mingo County. Dallas leaves behind the love of his life, his “Doll”, Dollie Jarrell Toler. They married 32 years ago on December 5, 1992. Together this bond produced a beautiful family, including sons, Raymond and wife Karly Toler, Austin Toler, David Jarrell II and Jeremy Lowe and daughters, Emily Jarrell (Malcolm Skeens) and Brittany Jarrell brothers, Roger (Mary) Toler, Amos (Pam) Toler and Mark (Jessica) Toler, sisters, Pamela (Harry) Cancelmi, Crystal Toler and April (Todd) Mullins. His grandchildren Easton and Bastian always put a smile on his face. He was also looking forward to the new grandchild. He also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews. Dallas had many friends including, Anthony Blevins, James (Tiny) Blevins, Jerry Baisden, Todd Hambrick, Mozart, Jimmy Hynd, Charlie Brown, Randy Baisden, Steven Marcum, Butch and Steven Pope, Tommy Pennington, Cody Crum, Blake Hunt, Quinton Yates, Kyle Morrison, Misty Fields and countless others who touched his life in many ways. Although his life was short on this earth his memory will forever be remembered in the hearts of his friends forever. Funeral services will be held at the Regional Church of God on Thursday evening after 6:00pm until 9:00pm with services starting at 7:00pm with Rev. Mitchell Bias officiating. In honoring Big Dal’s wishes, cremation will take place following the services. Chafin Funeral Home of Delbarton is proud to serve the Toler Family.
